Regina hair removal salon

Recently I went to Regina hair removal salon, and underwent the IPL for underarms
I think removing underarm hair regularly is a chore, especially when you need to wear short sleeves.
I came across this advertisement, and I thought it was really worth it!
$128 for unlimited sessions of IPL.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience, as the specialist was really nice, and didn't force me to buy anything!

Ok, ignore my clothes on the bed.
Hmm, it is a nice and cozy room. quite small though.

Changed into this robe.

They will put some cooling gel on your underarms, and it was soooo cold! Hated that part because it was kind of unbearable.

I am not sure if the promotion is over, but I think it is a good hair removal salon, and I would highly recommend this!

out with parents

Went to this restaurant to eat recently.

Ok, bad photo because we were rushing off. but can I say ewww?

The food was so expensive and taste so horrible.
I'd rather eat at some cheap hawker centre.

Sister and I

Went to bugis street with my family, and bought a lot of clothes! I think I have more than enough for Chinese new year. It's nice shopping with mum and sis, and shopping with my dad was......... hmm. Guys...
My mum, my sis and I excitedly tried out our new clothes the moment we stepped into our room!
We came up lots of funny ways to hog up all the space in front of the mirror.
Seriously, can't blame me for being vain, it runs in the genes.

I got this head-wire-thing that cost 3 for $10! unfortunately there were limited colours/designs left. I only got the yellow and I kind of like it.

I am slightly excited about new year actually! Red packets + wear new clothes!
However, thinking about what comes after new year turns me off instantly..
For now, I will just enjoy my extremely short one week holiday, and hope everything turns out well!

When I am upset, I cut my hair.

My close friends know that I cut my hair whenever I am upset.
Recently I decided to mess with my sister's hair as well!
Actually I think I did a good job, hmmmm perhaps except for that little hole in the middle of the fringe.... >.<

Hmm, I have been feeling pretty down recently, and somehow I can't get rid of the thought of wanting chop my long hair off! It happens everytime! Everytime I am upset, I look into the mirror and felt the urge to do a drastic change, probably because I like the excitment I get from doing so. Then again, perhaps I just want to distract myself from all the troubles.

Anyway, my sister wants to get short hair too, and we are looking for a good salon to do that..
Any recommendations?

Bigen silktouch hair dye

I dyed my hair recently!
And I did it all by myself! :D
I used to go to salons, and spend like a few hundred on my hair, but now I think it's just silly..
I should have done it by myself all along!
It really makes no difference whether you go to a salon, or DIY.

Anyway, I got sick of my hair color, but didn't have the money to do something about it!
So I decided to dye it myself.
Previously I tried using Bigen prominous hair dye, and I thought it was really good!
Unfortunately I find it a little bit too pricey for a DIY dye, so I decided to go for the cheaper alternative, Bigen silktouch hair dye.
AND I LOVED IT! :)
I am blogging about this, because this hair dye seems to be underrated.. It's not well known, and you can barely find any reviews online.

Ok enough of talking.. here are some pictures

The kits contains these stuff.. I am too lazy to list it, but it has a cape and a treatment sachet, which I really like.
And I really don't know what the spoon is doing there.....

Before dyeing:
Ugly black roots, but the color was still really obvious and bright! (bigen prominous was really good)

Used the cape!

I applied Vaseline on forehead, around my face, behind my ears, and on my neck. Prevents stain from the dye..
After dyeing, I put on a shower cap(those free ones I got from a hotel) to keep the heat in, which helps the colour stay.

After dyeing! TA DA! No more black roots! :D

The color was even, and looked similar to what was shown on the box!
Most importantly, the dye didn't make my hair dry at all!

I realized that when I bought about beauty related stuff, I have a lot more things to say, and I feel more enthusiastic about blogging! I guess I am just a vain pot. Hahaa. Nahhh I guess blogging about serious stuff, and blogging about my life just isn't not my thing. Perfect. I am just gonna blog more about beauty-related stuff in future..

Cousin's gathering

Starting from today, I am gonna update my blog more often! I know I said that a zillion times, but this time I am serious! >.<
Anyway, recently I went out for a cousin's gathering, and we took some photos.
I always love meeting my cousins. They are such nice and interesting people, and it's hard to run out of topics when I talk to them.
I don't remember when the last gathering was. I think it was new year? It's great to see them once in a while, to catch up on stuff(and to gossip).

Recently I have been spending quite a bit of time alone, and even though that didn't help me much, I somehow do enjoy being alone.
I think a lot of people, well at least those that I know of, don't like to be alone, and cannot stand boredom or loneliness.
Actually, after doing so for some time, you will realize that being alone is not as scary as you think. It can be a relief sometimes. To me, it's like soul cleansing..
You can be wherever you want to be, and do whatever you want to do.
I usually just read a psy book, and it often makes me feel good, at least for a while.
Instead of using the term being "alone", I actually prefer to say I am spending time with myself. In a way, we are never alone. We are always with ourselves. That sounds less lonely doesn't it!

Random update

Previously I was caught up with exams and some other stuff, but now I am having my holidays! :D YAY
It is good, because I think I really need some time for myself.
I have been so freaking busy that I neglected my emotional and physical health, and I would say my life is in a horrible mess now.
I am not sure what I am doing now.
I have been indulging in unhealthy behaviors, like overeating and over-shopping. >.<
I guess I am just trying to run away from certain issues.
I just don't want to face it.
This is my "defense mechanism for anxiety". (Gosh I am actually applying what I learnt in psy lessons)
I know I have several friends who are really concerned about me, and I am glad I have such great friends.
But I guess no one can help me this time. I need to be strong.
I need to be fucking tough.
I am not gonna let anything or anyone get me down again.
I am gonna search for answers to my problems, and I am gonna solve it by all means.
I am serious this time.
19 years of this shit, I had enough already.

Anyway, when I blogged the last time, I received nearly 700 hits within 24 hours! omgosh.
How is that even possible.
I usually receive about 100+ hits each time after blogging.
700 is crazy, and I am seriously wondering what happened.
On one hand, I feel shocked, and on the other, I feel kind of exposed. hahaa.

Today I went out with Hui Yi! Went shopping at bugis street..
Hui Yi bought a lot of things and I came home empty handed.. :( Yeahhh spent all my $$ on food
We took some photos, but I am too lazy to upload. Will do so another time.
